North Carolina High School Volleyball - Rocky Mount Academy over Halifax Academy

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Rocky Mount Academy Eagles (Rocky Mount, NC) and the host Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC), saw Rocky Mount Academy's volleyball squad beat Halifax Academy by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Rocky Mount Academy upgrades its record to 21-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC) to play the Spartans in a NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 10-12. Kerr-Vance Academy won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Oakwood (Greenville, NC)

The Vikings now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Wilson Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 4. Halifax Academy will play a squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC). The record now stands at 7-5.
