The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC) and the visiting Haywood Christian Academy Red Wolves (Waynesville, NC), saw Veritas Christian Academy's volleyball squad beat Haywood Christian Academy by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Veritas Christian Academy upgrades its record to 15-0 on the year. The Warriors host Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC) to play the Eagles in a Western Piedmont Athletic bout on Thursday, October 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Pinnacle Classical Academy won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Victory Christian Academy (Gastonia, NC)

The Red Wolves now own a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Community Christian Academy for a Western Piedmont Athletic bout on Monday, October 3.
