The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Hunter Wolverines (West Valley City, UT) and the host West Panthers (Salt Lake City, UT), saw Hunter's volleyball squad beat West by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Hunter upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Wolverines host Kearns (Kearns, UT) to play the Cougars in a 6A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-12.
The Panthers now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Cyprus for a 6A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, October 4. West will play a Pirates squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Taylorsville (Taylorsville, UT). The Pirates record now stands at 1-15.
