North Carolina High School Volleyball - South Lenoir over Kinston

South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Blue Devils battle the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a East Central 2A match, on Tuesday, October 4. South Lenoir will attempt to advance on its 9-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 12-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC).

With the loss, Kinston drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC) to battle the Panthers in a East Central 2A match on Tuesday, October 4. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 9-5. East Duplin lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC)
