North Carolina High School Volleyball - Northeast Academy overwhelmed by Pungo Christian Academy

In Thursday's league battle, the host Pungo Christian Academy Raiders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Northeast Academy Eagles.

The Raiders (20-4) will now prepare for their battle against Terra Ceia Christian (Pantego, NC). The Knights come into the NCISAA Tarheel Independent battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, Terra Ceia Christian lost by Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Eagles (Windsor, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 3. Northeast Academy will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 12-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Ahoskie Christian (Ahoskie, NC).
