The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Trinity Blazers (River Forest, IL) and the host Resurrection Bandits (Chicago, IL), saw Trinity's volleyball squad nip Resurrection by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Trinity upgrades its record to 5-13 on the year. The Blazers travel to Chicago University (Chicago, IL) to play the Maroons in a non-league bout on Friday, September 30. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Chicago University won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Woodlands Academy (Lake Forest, IL)

The Bandits now own a 2-20 record. They play next when they travel to Lane Tech for a non-league bout on Monday, October 3. Resurrection will play a Lane Tech squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Northside (Chicago, IL). The Lane Tech record now stands at 15-13.
