The San Juan Spartans volleyball team (Citrus Heights, CA), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Rio Vista Rams (Rio Vista, CA)

The Rams (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA). The Grizzlies enter the Sierra Delta League challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Golden Sierra defeated Esparto (Esparto, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Vacaville Christian Falcons (Vacaville, CA) in a Sierra Delta League challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. San Juan will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Pioneer (Woodland, CA).
