The Wilson Prep Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars to 0 in the Tigers league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest Halifax for a Tar Roanoke 1A game on Tuesday, October 4. Wilson Prep will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Northampton County (Gaston, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-10.
The Jaguars (0-11) will now prepare for their game against North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Warriors enter the Tar Roanoke 1A game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, North Edgecombe was dropped by Warren County (Warrenton, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
