The Cowboys (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Buena Vista (Buena Vista, CO). The Demons come into the 1A Western Slope challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Buena Vista trounced North Fork (Hotchkiss, CO), 14-7, in a league challenge.

The Bruins now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gunnison for a 1A Western Slope challenge on Friday, October 6. Cedaredge will meet a Cowboys team coming off a 40-0 non-league win over Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO). The Cowboys record now stands at 5-1.
