The Washington Hatchets football team (Washington, IN), was ripped 45-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Gibson Southern Titans (Fort Branch, IN)
The Titans (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN). The Wildcats come into the Pocket - Big School challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Vernon was ripped by Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN), 49-3, in a league challenge.
The Hatchets now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boonville for a Pocket - Big School challenge on Friday, October 6. Washington will meet a Pioneers team coming off a 54-7 league win over Princeton (Princeton, IN). The Pioneers record now stands at 4-3.
