The Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats (Manning, SC) football routed the visiting Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders (Columbia, SC), 48-15 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Swampcats clash with the Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) in a SCISA AAAA bout, on Friday, October 6. Laurence Manning Academy will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Cyclones enter the bout with a 6-1 record after their 58-30 league win over Trinity Collegiate (Darlington, SC).

The Highlanders (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Camden Military (Camden, SC). The Spartans enter the SCISA AAAA bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Camden Military was crushed by Hammond (Columbia, SC), 49-0, in a league bout.
