The North Buncombe Black Hawks football team (Weaverville, NC), was tipped 38-36 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting McDowell Titans (Marion, NC)

The Titans (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Enka (Enka, NC). The Jets come into the Mountain Athletic 3A/4A challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Enka was tipped by T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC), 58-13, in a league challenge.

The Black Hawks now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Enka for a Mountain Athletic 3A/4A challenge on Friday, October 13.
