The Mt. Hope Huskies football team (Bristol, RI), was beaten 21-9 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI)

The Vikings (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Warwick (West Warwick, RI). The Wizards come into the Division III-B challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, West Warwick achieved victory over Narragansett (Narragansett, RI), 14-12, in a league challenge.

The Huskies now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnston for a Division III-B challenge on Saturday, October 7. Mt. Hope will meet a Panthers team coming off a 29-19 league win over Moses Brown (Providence, RI). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
