In Friday's league battle, the visiting Astoria Fishermen soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the St. Helens Lions.
The Fishermen (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Scappoose (Scappoose, OR). The Indians come into the 4A Cowapa battle with a 6-1 record.
The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rainier (Rainier, OR). The Columbians come into the 4A Cowapa battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Rainier was nudged by Scappoose (Scappoose, OR), 8-0, in a league battle.
