The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) and the host Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA), saw Paul VI's volleyball squad beat Bishop O'Connell by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Paul VI upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD) to play the Falcons in a bout on Monday, October 2. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Our Lady of Good Counsel won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD)

The Knights now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Paul VI for a bout on Monday, October 9.
