In Friday's league battle, the host Coastal Christian Centurions soccer squad scored a good 8-0 triumph over the John Paul II Catholic Saints.
The Centurions (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC). The Patriots come into the NCISAA Coastal Plain battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Arendell Parrott Academy was overwhelmed by Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC), 8-0, in a league battle.
The Saints (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC). The Hurricanes come into the non-league battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Cape Fear Academy was overwhelmed by Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
