Northeastern Clinton Cougars (Champlain, NY) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Plattsburgh Hornets (Plattsburgh, NY), 4-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Northern Adirondack Bobcats (Ellenburg Depot, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 2. Northeastern Clinton will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record.

The Hornets now possess a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Peru for a Northern challenge on Thursday, October 5. Plattsburgh will confront a Nighthawks team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY). The Nighthawks record now stands at 8-2.
