The Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars (O'Fallon, MO) softball nipped the visiting Howell North Knights (St. Charles, MO), 5-4 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Jaguars (11-12) will now prepare for their bout against Howell (St. Charles, MO). The Vikings go into the Class 4 District 7 bout with a 16-6 record. In their last bout, Howell held off Troy-Buchanan (Troy, MO), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
