The Alamo Heights Mules (San Antonio, TX) volleyball overcame the visiting Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Alamo Heights betters its record to 18-17 on the year. The Mules travel to Jefferson (San Antonio, TX) to face the Mustangs in a 5A Region IV District 27 outing on Tuesday, October 3. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 6-26.

The Golden Bears now sport a 10-17 record. They play next when they host Highlands for a 5A Region IV District 27 outing on Tuesday, October 3. Edison will face a Owls squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX). The Owls record now stands at 8-23.
