The Jefferson Mustangs volleyball team (San Antonio, TX), went down 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Burbank Bulldogs (San Antonio, TX)

The Bulldogs (21-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Lanier (San Antonio, TX). The Voks enter the 5A Region IV District 27 challenge with a 3-20 record. In their last challenge, Lanier went down by Jefferson (San Antonio, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Alamo Heights Mules (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Jefferson will attempt to move on its 6-27 season record. The Mules enter the challenge with a 18-17 record after their 3-0 league win over Edison (San Antonio, TX).
