Texas High School Volleyball - Shepherd tips Crockett

The Shepherd Pirates (Shepherd, TX) volleyball nudged the host Crockett Bulldogs (Crockett, TX), 3-2 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Shepherd betters its record to 1-11 on the year. The Pirates travel to Onalaska (Onalaska, TX) to face the Wildcats in a 3A Region III District 23 outing on Tuesday, October 3. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 9-18. Onalaska lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX)

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-15 record. They play next when they host Coldspring-Oakhurst for a 3A Region III District 23 outing on Tuesday, October 3. Crockett will face a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Tarkington (Cleveland, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 13-8.
