The HEM Miners held off the host Guernsey-Sunrise Vikings volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league test.

The Miners now have a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southeast for a 1A Southeast test on Saturday, September 30. HEM will confront a Cyclones team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Guernsey-Sunrise (Guernsey, WY). The Cyclones record now stands at 8-5.

The Vikings (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Edgemont (Edgemont, SD). The Moguls enter the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Edgemont held off Takini (Howes, SD), 3-0, in a non-league test.
