The Hammondsport Lakers volleyball team (Hammondsport, NY), went down 3-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Penn Yan Academy Mustangs (Penn Yan, NY)

The Mustangs (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Waterloo (Waterloo, NY). The Tigers come into the Section 5 Finger Lakes - East challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Waterloo defeated Geneva (Geneva, NY), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lakers encounter the Campbell-Savona Panthers (Campbell, NY) in a Section 5 Steuben County challenge, on Wednesday, October 4. Hammondsport will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
