In Friday's league battle, the host Liberty Preparatory Christian Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Jackson Day Mariners.

The Patriots (17-1) will now prepare for their battle against HOPE Academy (Concord, NC). The Royals come into the battle with a 4-11 record. In their last battle, HOPE Academy lost by Providence Classical (Rock Hill, SC), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Mariners encounter the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 2. Jackson Day will attempt to advance on its 14-7 season record. The Stallions come into the battle with a 6-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC).
