In Friday's non-league battle, the host Kenai Central Kardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Kodiak Bears.

The Kardinals (21-1) will now prepare for their battle against Nikiski (Nikiski, AK). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 12-10 record. In their last battle, Nikiski lost by Service (Anchorage, AK), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bears clash with the West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 30. Kodiak will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 3-9 record after their 1-1 non-league Thunder Mountain (Juneau, AK).
