The Putnam Clippers volleyball team (Putnam, CT), went down 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT)

The Panthers (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheeler (North Stonington, CT). The Lions enter the Eastern Connecticut - Small challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Wheeler went down by Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Clippers encounter the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut - Small challenge, on Monday, October 2. Putnam will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Wheeler (North Stonington, CT).
