The Pleasanton Eagles (Pleasanton, TX) volleyball overcame the host Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX), 3-1 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Pleasanton upgrades its record to 21-15 on the year. The Eagles travel to Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX) to face the Wildcats in a 4A Region IV District 29 outing on Tuesday, October 3. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 8-14. Carrizo Springs won 3-2 in their recent league outing against Uvalde (Uvalde, TX)

The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) now own a 1-17 record. They play next when they host Devine for a 4A Region IV District 29 outing on Tuesday, October 3. Uvalde will face a Warhorses squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Floresville (Floresville, TX). The Warhorses record now stands at 24-14.
