Texas High School Volleyball - Port Neches-Groves overwhelmed by Sterling

September 29, 2023: Port Neches, TX 77651

In Friday's league battle, the visiting Sterling Rangers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Port Neches-Groves Indians.

The Rangers (15-13) will now prepare for their battle against Nederland (Nederland, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Region III District 17 battle with a 25-13 record. In their last battle, Nederland lost by Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Indians clash with the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots (Baytown, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Port Neches-Groves will attempt to advance on its 23-10 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 21-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Lee (Baytown, TX).
