In Friday's league contest, the St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Raritan Rockets (Hazlet, NJ), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Lancers battle the Monroe Township Falcons (Monroe Township, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 30. St. John-Vianney will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record.

With the loss, Raritan drops to 7-3 on the campaign. The Rockets host Freehold Boro (Freehold, NJ) to battle the Colonials in a non-league contest on Monday, October 2. The Colonials come into the contest with a record of 2-2.
