Cane Bay Cobras (Summerville, SC) backers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cobras (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Stall (Charleston, SC). The Warriors come into the AAAAA Region 8 challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Stall lost by Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans play the Summerville Green Wave (Summerville, SC) in a AAAAA Region 8 challenge, on Wednesday, October 1. James Island will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Green Wave go into the test with a 24-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC).
