Fans at Monday's league contest between the Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) and the host Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA), observed Manor's volleyball team top Norcom by a count of 3-1.

The Mustangs (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Maury (Norfolk, VA). The Commodores enter the Eastern battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Maury achieved victory over Norview (Norfolk, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Greyhounds now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granby for a Eastern battle on Wednesday, October 1. Norcom will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA). The Comets record now stands at 13-2.
