The Union Pines Vikings felled the host South Johnston Trojans football team by a score of 15-0 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Vikings meet the Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) in a Carolina Pines 6A test, on Friday, October 3. Union Pines will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 47-0 league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC).
With the defeat, South Johnston drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Southern Lee (Sanford, NC) to face the Cavaliers in a Carolina Pines 6A challenge on Friday, October 3. The Cavaliers go into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Southern Lee won 34-12 in their recent league challenge against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC)
