In Monday's league challenge, the host Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Cornerstone Christian Cougars.

The Trailblazers (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA). The Flames enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Eastern Mennonite was tipped by Appalachian Christian School (Waynesboro, VA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Blue Ridge Christian Bears (Bridgewater, VA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Cornerstone Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Bears go into the game with a 6-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Appalachian Christian School (Waynesboro, VA).
