The Huntington Park Spartans felled the host South Gate Rams flag football team by a score of 27-0 in Monday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans face the South East Jaguars (South Gate, CA) in a Eastern challenge, on Friday, October 3. Huntington Park will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 13-12 league loss to Bell (Bell, CA).

With the defeat, South Gate drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Garfield (Los Angeles, CA) to meet the Bulldogs in a Eastern test on Monday, October 6. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-2.
