California High School Flag Football - St. Mary's Academy tops St. Anthony

September 29, 2025: Inglewood, CA 90301

The St. Mary's Academy Belles flag football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting St. Anthony Saints to 12 in the Belles league triumph on Monday.

The Belles now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peninsula for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 30. St. Mary's Academy will face a Panthers team coming off a 18-0 league loss to Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.

The Saints (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA). The Knights come into the outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Bishop Montgomery was defeated by Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA), 46-20, in a league outing.
