Whittell Warriors (Zephyr Cove, NV) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Quincy Trojans (Quincy, CA), 11-3 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Whittell advances its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV) to play the Longhorns in a 2A Northern outing on Friday, October 3. The Longhorns go into the outing with a record of 1-7. Battle Mountain lost 5-2 in their recent league outing against Dayton (Dayton, NV)

Next up, the Trojans play the Truckee Wolverines (Truckee, CA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 9. Quincy will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record.
