In Monday's league outing, the visiting Valley View Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns.

The Cougars (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Mid Valley (Throop, PA). The Spartans go into the Lackawanna 1 outing with a 11-2 record. In their last outing, Mid Valley got by Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA), 6-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Buckhorns confront the Delaware Valley Warriors (Milford, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 outing, on Thursday, October 2. Wallenpaupack Area will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 3-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to North Pocono (Covington Township, PA).
