In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Buckingham Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Amelia County Raiders.

The Knights (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Nottoway (Nottoway, VA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Nottoway lost by King William (King William, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Raiders now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cumberland for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. Amelia County will face a Dukes squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Dukes record now stands at 6-1.
