Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Orr Spartans (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Clark Eagles (Chicago, IL), observed Orr's volleyball team hold off Clark by a count of 2-1.

The Spartans (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against North Lawndale (Chicago, IL). The Phoenix enter the battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, North Lawndale was edged by Wells (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

The Eagles now own a 2-2 record.
