Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY) backers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Clinton County lost by Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league game.

The Hornets (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Monroe County gained a win over Clinton County (Albany, KY), 2-0, in a non-league game.
