Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) backers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Wayne Country Day Chargers (Goldsboro, NC), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Knights (3-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC). The Patriots go into the test with a 8-0 record. In their last test, Faith Christian beat St. Thomas More Academy (Raleigh, NC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chargers play the Liberty Christian Academy Heat (Richlands, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Wayne Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Heat come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC).
