In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Rocklin Thunder volleyball team scored a close 2-1 win over the Whitney Wildcats.

With the win, Rocklin advances its record to 10-8 on the season. The Thunder host St. Francis (Sacramento, CA) to face the Troubadours in a test on Wednesday, October 1. The Troubadours go into the test with a record of 25-3. St. Francis won 2-0 in their recent league test against Davis Sr. (Davis, CA)

The Wildcats now have a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Del Oro for a outing on Wednesday, October 1. Whitney will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 2-1 league win over Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 9-4.
