Fans at Monday's league contest between the Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA), observed Venice's volleyball team top University by a count of 2-0.

The Gondoliers (22-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA). The Lions enter the contest with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Fairfax dropped by Los Angeles CES (Los Angeles, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.

The Wildcats now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamilton for a battle on Monday, October 6.
