In Monday's league outing, the host Annapolis Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Garden City Cougars.
The Cougars (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Melvindale (Melvindale, MI). The Cardinals enter the non-league outing with a 15-2 record.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Crestwood Chargers (Dearborn Heights, MI) in a Western Wayne - Red test, on Wednesday, October 1. Garden City will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 10-3 record after their 8-0 league win over Thurston (Redford, MI).
