North Carolina High School Soccer - Cape Fear nudges Gray's Creek

The Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) soccer nipped the host Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC), 2-1 in Monday's league challenge.

The Colts now own a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Terry Sanford for a Tri-County 6A/7A contest on Wednesday, October 1. Cape Fear will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-5.

The Bears (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Rams enter the Tri-County 6A/7A contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Purnell Swett was nipped by Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC), 2-0, in a league contest.
