The Trojans now hold a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Patton for a Western Piedmont 3A/4A bout on Wednesday, October 1. Chase will play a Panthers squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, Draughn moves to 0-9 on the year. The Wildcats host East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a Western Piedmont 3A/4A bout on Wednesday, October 1. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 0-12. East Burke lost 6-1 in their recent league game against East Rutherford (Bostic, NC)
