In Monday's league outing, the visiting Dunmore Bucks soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Mid Valley Spartans.

The Bucks (9-4) will now prepare for their test against West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Invaders come into the Lackawanna - Division II test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, West Scranton was tipped by Honesdale (Honesdale, PA), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Spartans now have a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeland for a Lackawanna - Division II test on Wednesday, October 1. Mid Valley will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-11.
