Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Middlesboro Yellowjackets (Middlesboro, KY), 6-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Harlan County moves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Black Bears travel to Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY) to clash with the Colonels in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. The Colonels come into the test with a record of 10-7. Whitley County won 17-0 in their recent non-league test against Knox Central (Barbourville, KY)

The Yellowjackets now sport a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Knox Central for a District 50 test on Thursday, October 2. Middlesboro will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to South Laurel (London, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 0-9.
