In Monday's league outing, the visiting West Caldwell Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 7-1 win over the R-S Central Hilltoppers.

The Warriors (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers enter the Western Piedmont 3A/4A outing with a 10-4 record. In their last outing, Hibriten was overwhelmed by Patton (Morganton, NC), 4-2, in a league outing.

Next up, the Hilltoppers confront the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Bostic, NC) in a Western Piedmont 3A/4A outing, on Wednesday, October 1. R-S Central will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Cavaliers enter the outing with a 7-6 record after their 6-1 league win over East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC).
