The Raptors (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Kankakee (Kankakee, IL). The Kays enter the SICA battle with a 8-6 record. In their last match, Kankakee nipped Chicago Washington (Chicago, IL), 1-0, in a non-league match.

The Comets now sport a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Herscher for a Illinois Central Eight match on Tuesday, September 30. Reed-Custer will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bremen (Midlothian, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 12-3.
